Inspiring the Next Generation of Space Engineers
Welcome to First Contact – Space Exploration, where we bring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to life through the lens of Space Exploration and Advanced Ancient Technologies.
Our goal is simple yet transformative: to bridge the gap between learning space and real-world engineering challenges - unlocking career pathways in the rapidly growing global Space Industry, projected to become a sextillion-dollar sector over the coming century.
A 26-Module Training Course That Changes Everything
Our flagship program is a 26-module training course designed for:
- Students in Grades 8–12
- School leavers
- Gap year students
The course doesn’t replace school content - it reinforces and expands it. Students are encouraged to apply their knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering graphics to real problems in deep space communication, resonance systems, and ancient engineering principles.
Through this program, learners discover not just how the tools of STEM work, but why they matter - and where they can take them.
What Students Will Experience
- Build simple but powerful transmitters, including one of the earliest high-powered designs made from sand.
- Explore transmitters and receivers, understanding their components and real-world functions.
- Reverse engineer ancient communication systems, learning the underlying electromagnetic principles and formulas.
- Tackle real engineering challenges—from designing systems for interstellar communication to modeling resonance-based technologies inspired by ancient civilizations.
This hands-on learning builds deep understanding, creativity, and critical problem-solving - skills vital for the future of space exploration.
The African Deep Space Exploration Project
Students who complete the program have the opportunity to join a structured gap year pathway focused on:
- Practical training
- Further education
- Participation in a groundbreaking engineering project
That project is the African Deep Space Exploration Project, developed in collaboration with countries across the entire African continent from Cape to Cairo.
At its heart is the construction of the world’s largest deep space transmitter - a multi billion-rand initiative based firstly in South Africa and later in Egypt and then with every other country in Africa. With an aperture of over 53,000 square meters, it represents the dawn of Africa’s leadership in global space innovation and communication, capable of reaching an estimated 16 billion light years into the cosmos.
Free Presentations for Schools
We also offer free presentations to schools - designed to introduce this revolutionary educational pathway and inspire students to see how what they learn today connects directly to the technologies of tomorrow.
If you’re an educator or school interested in bringing this experience to your students, contact us to arrange a session.
